MUSCAT: A 15-year-old girl drowned off Wadi Bani Hani in Wilayat Rustaq, while two Omani women were rescued by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA) on Saturday.
PACDA urged citizens and residents not to monitor children and avoid swimming in wadis.
”The civil defense and ambulance teams in the Governorate of South Al Batinah responded to the report of the drowning of three female citizens in Wadi Bani Hani in the Wilayat of Rustaq, where two citizens were rescued and a 15-year-old girl died.”

“The authority calls on citizens and residents not to swim in wadis, and stresses the need to monitor children in order to preserve the safety of all,” the statement added.
