MUSCAT: Oman has denied rumours about medical teams and aid arriving from neighbouring countries to contain the coronavirus outbreak in the country.

In a statement issued online, Ministry of Health said the country is well-equipped to fight the pandemic. “There is no truth to what is being discussed on social media about the arrival of foreign medical team and aid. Our medical force both citizens and residents spare no efforts in serving the patients. We are fully equipped to deal with any situation with regards to coronavirus,” Ministry of Health said in a statement on Sunday.
