MUSCAT: The total coronavirus cases in North Al Batinah Governorate has crossed 5,000 after 317 new patients were registered on Monday.
According to the data provided by the Ministry of Health (MOH), in North Al Batinah Governorate, Sohar has the highest cases with a total of 1815, while Suwaiq has 1210 cases. A total of 2876 cases have recovered in North Batinah. Cases in South Al Batinah touched 4584 with Musannah recording 917 cases.
Meanwhile, Muscat Governorate has registered only 453 cases on Monday of which 171 comes from Seeb. Total cases in Baushar has touched 8040 after 92 new cases were recorded. Muttrah recorded only 27 cases on Monday.

Meanwhile, Dhofar registered 161 new cases, taking the total Covid-19 cases to 1251. Total cases in Salalah touched 1135 on Monday after 158 cases were recorded.
The total infected cases in the country touched 47,735.
