MUSCAT: In order to provide more jobs to Omanis, the Ministry of Manpower on Sunday announced its plans to nationalise 11 more professions.
According to Ministerial Resolution No. 182/2020, the following professions will be reserved for Omanis.
- Internal housing supervisor
- Social service specialist
- Social care specialist
- Psychologist
- Social specialist
- General social worker
- Student activities specialist
- Social research technician,
- Social service technician
- Assistant social service technician
- Social guide
According to the decision, “the licence for the recruitment of expat work force and work permit licence issued for these professions will apply until the date of their expiry,” the statement from Ministry of Manpower said.
