MUSCAT: A low pressure in the Arabian Sea is expected to bring rains and thundershowers in the governorate of South Al-Sharqiya, Al Wusta and Dhofar till July 3.
In a weather alert issued by the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), rainfall will range from 35 to 80 mm for the next 24 hours associated with fresh to strong winds, flash floods, reduction in horizontal visibility and rough sea conditions along the southeastern coasts.
“PACA calls on the public to take precautions and to stay away from low lying areas and to avoid crossing of wadis and any venture into the sea,” the statement added.
