MUSCAT: Muscat Governorate has more than 70 per cent coronavirus cases in the country as the total surpassed 10,000 on Wednesday.
Muscat Governorate also has the highest fatality rates. A total of 54 people have died from Covid-19 in Muscat Governorate alone.
According to the Ministry of Health, 10,263 cases have been reported in Muscat of which 1484 have recovered.

Meanwhile, Seeb once again recorded the highest cases in Muscat Governorate with 194 cases on Wednesday. Wilayat Baushar recorded 145 cases and Muttrah 139 cases.
Oman on Wednesday reported 738 new cases, taking the total to 13,538.
