MUSCAT: Seven people died in Oman on Sunday due to coronavirus, taking the total death cases in the country to 49, Minister of Health announced.
In an interview with Oman TV, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi said 49 death cases were registered in the country so far including 7 in a single-day. “Today (Sunday) 7 people died due to coronavirus cases. Five died outside the hospital. Total cases has now touched 49,” Al Saidi added.
Oman also recorded the highest number of coronavirus cases in the country in a single-day. 1,014 cases were reported on Sunday of which 802 were from Muscat.
