MUSCAT: The Supreme Committee has decided to lift the lockdown in Muscat Governorate from Friday, May 29, however, the sanitary isolation of Wilayat Muttrah will continue, a top Royal Oman Police official informed The Arabian Stories.
“Muscat Governorate lockdown will be lifted on Friday. A decision on Wilayat Muttrah will be taken in the coming days but as of now it is still under sanitary isolation,” the official said.
On Wednesday, the Supreme Committee relaxed restrictions by lifting the lockdown in Muscat and also allowed 50% of government employees to return to their workplaces.
