MUSCAT: More than 17,000 applications have been submitted through the Ministry of Manpower website to renew the work permits of expatriate employees in April 2020.
According to the data, 17,812 applications have been submitted electronically to renew the work permits of the employees. Through the online service from Ministry of Manpower, employers can renew the work permits that have expired or nearing completion. According to the information received, 9,353 applications to renew the work permit was submitter from Muscat Governorate alone.
