MUSCAT: The Indian Embassy in Oman has opened e-registration for its nationals wanting to travel back home due to coronavirus outbreak.
On Thursday, the embassy officially announced the details of data collection through the website of the consulate. “This is only for collection of data. No decision has been taken regarding resumption of flights. Embassy will announce in due course,” the statement from the embassy said.
‘Those who have registered need not do it again‘
It is worth noting that the Indian Embassy was first in the region to start the registration process. “We started the registration few weeks back and we were the first in the region to do so. Many people had registered over the last few weeks and those who have registered need not do it again. However, those who did not register via the link, can do it,” said an official from the embassy.
