MUSCAT: Dr. S. Jaishankar, India’s External Affairs minister on Thursday spoke to Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, about the coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement issued on his official Twitter account, Jaishankar said: “Very pleased to speak with FM Yusuf Alawi. Appreciated Oman’s taking care of the Indian community there. As trusted partners, assured him of India’s support in the collective fight against coronavirus.”
Last week, India supplied one million Hydroxychloroquine tablets to Oman for the treatment coronavirus. Oman on Thursday confirmed 1,716 Covid-19 cases in the country.
