Muscat: Knowledge Oman, the award winning knowledge-sharing platform in the Sultanate, has awarded Khalfan Said Nasser Al Mahrazy with the community leadership highlighting his 2.5 achievements presiding over the platform. The award was presented to Khalfan by the founder of the platform, Tariq Hilal Al Barwani, in the presence of the community members at the recent gathering that celebrates the success of organization over the last year.

Khalfan is energetic, passionate and indeed an excellent leader who is focused at delivering winning results. We at Knowledge Oman are proud to recognize his impactful contribution to the team and the platform as a whole” said Tariq Al Barwani, founder of Knowledge Oman.
Khalfan joined Knowledge Oman in 2008 as a junior member where he was engaged with a pool of volunteers to learn about the platform and contribute activities towards the betterment of the society. Khalfan was promoted different ranks until he left Knowledge Oman in 2014 as its Vice President being succeeded by Rym Aoudia who was the first female President of Knowledge Oman. Khalfan rejoined again in 2018 as the President completing 2.5 years successfully.

Every elected President is encouraged to lead the team with the maximum of 2 years. Khalfan is the 4th successful President to complete the 2 years leadership tenure with Knowledge Oman.
Established in April 2008, Knowledge Oman has managed to successfully bring together a diverse team of local and expatriate male and female living under one roof to support the vision of His Majesty of creating a knowledge-based society, attracting 700 volunteers that initiated 74 projects that received 80,000 registrations and has partnered with 35 local and international organizations that impacted over 130,000 people. Knowledge Oman received 4 local and international awards for the projects contributed to the society since 2008.
