MUSCAT: Oman has suspended Italian chattered flights to Salalah Airport for one month, the Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA) said on Sunday.
The decision comes following coronavirus outbreak in Italy where 34 people died and almost 1,700 people have been infected with the deadly virus. However, Oman Air will continue flights between Muscat and Milan. PACA affirmed that it will take all necessary measures to curb spreading of Coronavirus.
“The Public Authority for Civil Aviation, in cooperation with the competent authorities, on Sunday suspended all Italian chartered flights to Salalah International Airport from March 1 for one month,” PACA said in a statement.
