Indian School Al Ghubra bids adieu to class 12 students

Indian School Al Ghubra organized the Formal Farewell for the students of Class 12 .

Muscat: Indian School Al Ghubra organized the Formal Farewell for the students of Class 12 on Monday, February 10, 2020. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. P Mohammed Ali, Founder, Indian School Al Ghubra, Mr. Ahmed Rayees, President, School Management Committee, Mr. Sunil Katakkath, Convenor SMC, Members of the School Management Committee and parents.

The Principal, Mrs.Papri Ghosh, welcomed the gathering and addressed the students. She appreciated the batch of 2019 – 2020 for their unity and for being very cooperative throughout. The Principal pointed out the unique talents of the students of the batch and praised them for setting a good example to others.

In his exhortation, Dr. P Mohammed Ali about developing an attitude of gratitude. He advised the students to remain focused on their goals. He asked them to stand and applaud their parents and leaders.

In his address, Mr. Rayees told the students the stairways to success demanded hard work and focus. He also asked the students to thank their parents.  

Dr. P Mohammed Ali presented the 113 students of the batch their hall tickets.Mr Ahmed Rayees presented mementoes to 34 students who had completed 14 years of schooling in ISG. The dignitaries wished them the very best for the Board examination.  

Sharmistha  Shankar Ghosh , Head Girl, expressing her gratitude to her alma mater spoke of the many memorable experiences  at ISG while Ishan Rohit Date, the Head Boy spoke of life being a canvas on which he looks forward to paint with the most brilliant colours. Anirudh Govil, President Student Council said in his speech that they are all now at a crossroad and each of them will have to make a choice between taking the highway to hell  or the stairway to heaven. He said that their time in school was like a vaccine which caused pain sometimes but would go on to make them stronger to face the challenges of life. 

Akifah Jamsheed and Kaushik Shankar, the Head Girl and Head Boy respectively of ISG International, expressed their gratitude to the institution that had moulded and groomed them for success.

The function concluded with a special prayer by the Principal, Mrs Papri Ghosh, seeking the grace of the Almighty for the success of the batch 2019 – 2020.
