MUSCAT: The late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur has left a lasting legacy for many generations to remember.
On this day, 30-years ago, on February 6, 1990, Sultan Qaboos officially opened the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH).
It is considered one of the leading hospitals in the middle east, offering education, medical research, and tertiary medical care.

It is considered to be one of the main hospitals in Oman next to the Royal hospital and Khoula Hospital with total of 4567 employees from different positions and departments. SQUH has since grown manifold and is well recognised across the globe, thanks to the vision of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
