MUSCAT: National airline Oman Air has suspended all flights to and from Guangzhou in China starting from Monday, February 3, 2020. This comes soon after its regular the Public Authority for Civil Aviation directed flights to stop operations to the coronavirus hit country.
The novel coronavirus has claimed 304 lives so far. “Following the directives of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), Oman Air will suspend all flights to and from Guangzhou, China, effective Monday, 3 February 2020,” the airline said in a statement on Sunday.
Oman Air currently operates non-stop flights to Guangzhou.
