MUSCAT: Nearly 100,000 flights landed at Muscat International Airport this year, according to a new data released by Oman News Agency.
According to the ONA report, more than 13 million passengers travelled through the Muscat airport alone.

“The number of passengers in Muscat International Airport increased until the end of last October, having included arrivals, departures, transfers and transits, reaching 13,384,222 passengers, with the number of flights being 98,144.”

In addition, about one million passengers were handled by Salalah International Airport. “The number of passengers at Salalah Airport reached 1,153,329 passengers, on board 9,998 flights, a decrease of 4.3 percent in flights compared to the end of October 2018,” ONA added.
