Muscat: An Indian businessman in Oman is giving away the entire sports goods in his shop as part of the Sultanate’s 49th National Day.
Najeeb Rahiman, who hails from Kerala in India is giving away the sports items to the needy. “Oman is not my second home but my first. This country has made me who I am today. When I came here searching for a livelihood, the country gave me a life. I always thought of giving something back to this great nation and I felt this is a right gesture,” Rahiman who comes from Alappuzha said.
According to Rahiman, the goods will be donated to two charity organizations — Dar al Atta’a and Bait al Rahma.
