MUSCAT: Overseas voting for Oman’s Majlis Al Shura elections has begun. Those Omani citizens who are travelling or staying abroad can cast their vote before 8pm today through the app on smartphones.
According to information received here, members of the election committee and those who assist in the electoral process will also vote on Saturday. The voting will conclude at 8pm. Voters can participate through the application on smartphones.
Voting for citizens in Oman will take place on October 27.

A total of 767 candidates including 43 women will be vying for 86 seats in Majlis Ash’shura, which consists of members who are representing the different wilayats elected by direct vote.
