Muscat: Oman Air has cancelled hundreds of flights to several destinations until October 31, amid the ongoing grounding of its fleet of Boeing 737 Max aircraft, the airline said on Saturday.
The affected destinations include Athens, Colombo, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Goa, Jeddah, Karachi, Salalah, Medina, Kathmandu, Tehran, Doha, Amman, Nairobi, Bangkok, Dubai, Goa, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, Riyadh, Lahore, Casablanca and Calicut.
“We are re-booking guests on alternative / next available flights to their destinations and advise all our guests who are due to travel during the same period to check the flight status or contact the call centre,” the airline added.

Oman Air passengers who have booked during those dates are being advised to check the airline’s website or contact its call centre to ascertain the status of their flight.
