Muscat: The Ministry of Interior has set October 19 as the voting date for citizens abroad and members of the Majlis A’Shura for the 9th term elections. Those who assist in the electoral process are also eligible to vote on the same day.
The voting will be from 8am to 8pm. The system will be implemented as an application in the smartphones, which will be enhanced by the electronic authentication system provided by Oman’s Public Key Infrastructure.
