Muscat: Ministry of Manpower has warned companies in Oman that if it fails to renew the labour cards of expat employees, it can face a suspension of all ministry services.
In a statement issued online on Tuesday, MoM said companies will have to renew the labour cards within 30-days or let the expat worker leave the country.
“The ministry announces that it will implement the Ministerial Decree No. (90/2013) specifying the procedures and controls for dealing with private sector establishments in violation of the provisions of the Labour Law and the resolutions regulating it by stopping the provision of service to all private sector establishments and individuals who have not renewed the labour cards for their expat workforce.”
