NEW YORK: Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs addressing the UN General Assembly on Saturday, urged the international community to stand united and work towards peace in the region.
“Peace is a pillar of stability and dialogue resolves differences. Peace in the Middle East has become an urgent demand. We believe the United Nations and the international community should take serious action to build consensus and support peaceful efforts to end instability in the region,” Alawi said while addressing the 74thsession of the UN General Assembly.
