Muscat: Oman’s Paralympic team has won four gold medals in the 2nd West Asian Paralympic Games held in Jordan.
On Friday, Omani athletes Qusai Al Rawahi won the gold medal in the 200m run category, while, Taha Al Harrasi won the gold in the long jump and Mohammed Al Qasmi won two gold medals in the Shot Put and Scepter competition. 45 Omani athletes are taking part in the competition. Oman’s paralympic stars won seven medals in total in the 13th edition of the Tunisia International Paralympics Athletics event in July. Also, the Sultanate’s Paralympics heroes had claimed 47 medals at the Special Olympics World Games held in Abu Dhabi in March.
