Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) busted a gang of car thieves electronic gadgets to carry out thefts, with the arrest of 10 persons.
In a statement issued online, ROP said the accused stole 10 vehicles using “reprogrammed keys”.
“Referring to what has been circulated on social media channels and reports received by us, the accused used reprogrammed keys to steal them.”

ROP said the accused have been referred to the authorities for investigations. “We urge motorists to take precautions to safeguard their vehicles.”
