Muscat: Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, in step with its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to encouraging a savings culture in Oman, celebrated the Al Mazyona monthly draw in which 10 Asalah Priority banking customers were rewarded with RO 20,000 each and 10 Al Jawhar Privilege banking customers won RO 10,000 each. The draw was conducted at the Bank’s Markaz Al Bahja branch in the presence of customers and bank officials.

A powerful incentive to foster the habit of regular saving, the 2019 al Mazyona savings scheme offers for the fourth year in a row. Bank Muscat has lined up an astounding 4,437 high value prizes during the year, including monthly prizes totalling RO 550,000 to be shared by 370 winners, mid-year, end of year and mega prizes ranging from RO 10,000 to RO 250,000.

Asalah Priority banking customers who maintain a minimum balance of RO 30,000 are eligible to participate in all al Mazyona prize draws, in addition to exclusive draws earmarked for them. The high savings balance customers have exclusive monthly prizes of RO 20,000 each for 10 customers and year-end prizes of RO 30,000 each for 10 winners. Special year-end prizes include RO 100,000 each for two winners. Two lucky Asalah customers won mega prizes of RO100,000 each at the recently held mid-year al Mazyona draw in Salalah. Ten Asalah customers also won RO 30,000 each in the same draw.

Al jawhar Privilege banking customers maintaining a minimum balance of RO 10,000 in their savings accounts are eligible to participate in exclusive monthly prize draws of RO 10,000 each for 10 customers and year-end prizes include RO 20,000 each for 10 winners and special year-end prizes of RO 50,000 each for two customers. Two lucky al jawhar customers won special prizes of RO 50,000 each during the new mid-year al Mazyona draw held during the Salalah Festival in July while 10 lucky al jawhar customers won RO20,000 each. 

Asalah and al jawhar customers can also participate in the year-end mega draw of RO 250,000 each for four winners, which is open to all customers maintaining a minimum balance of RO 30,000. Al jawhar Privilege Banking customers also have a chance to win a fixed salary prize of RO 500 every month for a year. 

The 2019 al Mazyona scheme is designed to transform the lives of prudent savers. The scheme is targeted to accommodate all segments, including ladies, youth, children, high savings balance customers and salary account holders, thereby inculcating a strong savings habit among citizens who will be responsible for the future development of Oman.

In keeping with Bank Muscat’s role as the leading financial services provider and a constant innovator, the Bank has launched prize draws in several new categories including the all new Al Mazyona mid-year draw conducted in July during the Salalah Festival.
