Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) said that the number of businesses registered in the various governorates of Oman has touched nearly 50,000 in the first quarter of 2019.
As per the report from MoCI, among the 46,904 business activities that were registered this year, 7,544 activities are of construction contractors. This was followed by export and import services with 6,491 new registrations.
