MUSCAT : Organized by the Department of Agricultural Development and Water Resources in collaboration with the Directorate General of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, this event serves as a testament to the nation’s commitment to fostering agricultural innovation and preserving traditional practices.

The exhibition, a culmination of meticulous planning and collaboration, offers visitors an immersive journey into Oman’s diverse facets of agriculture.

Among the highlights are displays dedicated to agricultural pest control tools, honey bee rearing, propagation methods, and veterinary treatments. These corners provide insights into the latest innovations and offer practical solutions to challenges faced by farmers and livestock owners.

Furthermore, the exhibition features a rural development corner, highlighting the ingenuity of Omani industries and the resilience of local communities. Here, visitors can marvel at the craftsmanship of traditional handicrafts showcased by the Omani Women’s Association, underscoring the importance of preserving cultural heritage amidst progress.

Muhammad bin Harib Al-Bahlani, Director of the Department of Agricultural Wealth and Water Resources in Manah, expressed the exhibition’s underlying purpose, stating, “The idea of holding the exhibition came out of the department’s keenness in the state to continuously communicate and meet with farmers and citizens closely and introduce them to works related to all modern agricultural fields and methods of combating some pests that affect trees and animals, in addition, to display the handicrafts of productive families.”
