MUSCAT – Official figures indicate that the application has processed 452,627 government job applications and 1,670,383 private sector job applications. In addition, it has registered 380,983 profile activations, 8,568 accepted employment contracts, and 10,190 labour complaints.

The platform, designed to simplify and streamline labour-related procedures, continues to play a key role in enhancing digital service delivery for both individuals and employers across the Sultanate of Oman.
Developed under the ‘Tawasul’ National Digital Transformation Program, the app’s objectives are to support a promising segment of jobseekers by providing employment opportunities, enhance the efficiency of services provided to individuals and employers, and enable smooth interaction and information exchange between employers and jobseekers.

‘Ma’ak’ app serves as a comprehensive digital gateway for employment and labour services. It enables jobseekers to view and apply for vacancies, manage contracts, update information, and pay fines. Employers, meanwhile, can register Omani and non-Omani workers, submit labour-related reports and complaints, and manage workforce data through integrated service categories.

By consolidating multiple Ministry of Labour services into a single digital interface, the platform supports the government’s drive to enhance efficiency, transparency, and communication between employers and jobseekers.

The ‘Ma’ak’ application is available for download on both the App Store and Google Play.
