The initiative is being implemented through coordinated efforts among the Authority’s regulatory and administrative divisions across the Sultanate’s governorates.
It covers several commercial sectors, including clothing and textiles, electrical and electronic devices, cosmetics, perfumes and personal care, cafés, restaurants, and buffets, in addition to the automotive sector, mobile phone repair shops, décor and design outlets, gold and jewellery sector, furniture, upholstery, and curtain tailoring businesses.
The campaign focuses on several key monitoring aspects, most notably verifying the existence of a commercial registration number or license, ensuring the clarity of exchange and return policies, confirming the availability of secure payment methods, verifying delivery timelines and after-sales services, and checking the availability of warranty data and invoices.
