Muscat: These festivities, which highlight Thumrait’s charm during its moderate winter, will run until December 27, drawing visitors eager to explore its unique tourist and cultural offerings.
Known for its sand dunes in “Al Khadf” and Al Hashman and the allure of camping in scenic valleys, Thumrait has become a winter hotspot. Visitors can immerse themselves in these attractions while enjoying a series of vibrant events, including the “Winter Bazaar,” featuring 30 outlets showcasing crafts and products by local families. Culinary delights, mobile food carts, and lively performances at the daily arts theater add to the festive atmosphere. Poetry recitals, musical evenings, and entertainment competitions promise fun for families and children alike.

His Excellency Ahmed bin Hamad Al Maawali, Wali of Thumrait, emphasized the broader goals of the events saying that these activities aim to enhance tourism, cultural, and economic activities while creating an attractive environment for investors.
