Muscat – “To safeguard public health, Muscat Municipality urges the pubic to exercise caution regarding their sources of fresh meat and only purchase from approved establishments,” states the cautionary notice from the Municipality.
The municipality’s food inspection and control departments across all directorates are conducting intensive inspection campaigns to ensure that meat suppliers and sellers comply with all applicable health requirements. These campaigns aim to verify the origin and quality of the meat, storage conditions, and hygiene practices within these establishments.
