MUSCAT : In continuation of its efforts to deal with the effects of the rainstorm, the CPA has developed a comprehensive plan; it includes teams to cover the governorates’ markets during the morning and evening periods, and a team to receive and follow up on consumer reports, as well as to communicate with various commercial institutions to ensure availability of goods.
The Authority calls on suppliers and merchants to adhere to consumer protection laws and legislation in order to avoid legal accountability and also not to exploit the current circumstances to raise prices and disrupt market stability.
