MUSCAT : The opening ceremony was patronised by H.E. Sayyid Said bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture, who stated that the Creatourism Program and the Creative Arts Space initiative are effective platforms that bring together local talents to display the cultural richness of the Sultanate of Oman, as well as its active contribution to creating an added value for tourism projects.
The Creative Arts Space is located in one of the main halls of the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center to form a permanent facade that celebrates the creative arts. The space currently includes more than 30 creative works by prominent Omani artists, including Idriss Al-Houti, Israa Al-Baluchi, Asila Bint Juma’a, Anwar Sonia, Bodour AlRiyamia, Hassan Mir, Ruqayya Al-Balushi, Majida Al-Hinai, Mazen Al Harithi, Musa Omar, Alia Al-Farsi, Ghaith Al-Siyabi, Marwa Al- Kaabi and Nada Al-Masoudia.
