Muscat – The rescue operation was undertaken after the Operations Centre of the Royal Navy of Oman received a report from the Coast Guard of the Royal Oman Police stating that a boat had broken down at sea.
One of the ships of the Royal Navy of Oman sailed in response to the distress call, carrying out the rescue operation and towing the boat to Sultan Qaboos Port in Muscat Governorate.
