MUSCAT: National airline Oman Air has so far recovered 65% of its network of destinations including most of the major destinations, compared to what it was before the COVID-19 pandemic, CEO Abdul Aziz Al Raisi said in an interview.
Speaking to Oman News Agency, Al Raisi said the company’s operational business is currently heading towards improvement. “We are expecting it to continue the growth momentum with the return of full operation of the fleet and destinations between the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024,” he noted.
Al Raisi pointed out that the employment policy applied during the past five years has resulted in an increase in the Omanization rate to 94% in 2022, compared to 56% in 2018.
