MoU signed between Muscat College and Muscat University

Muscat College and Muscat University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to foster research collaboration.

MUSCAT : The MoU was signed by Prof Khamis Al-Yahyaee, Vice Chancellor of Muscat University, and by Dr Khalfan Al Masruri, Dean of Muscat College, to pave the way for a fruitful partnership.


The signing ceremony, held at the Muscat University campus, establishes a framework for joint research endeavours, knowledge exchange, and collaborative research and innovation. This strategic alliance aims to create synergies and amplify the research capabilities of both institutions.


On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Dr Khalfan Al Masruri said, “This esearch MoU marks a significant milestone in our journey towards becoming a research and innovation hub. By collaborating with Muscat University, we aim to create synergies that will amplify our research capabilities and contribute to the socio-economic development of Oman.”


Prof Khamis Al-Yahyaee also emphasized the importance of this partnership, and stated: “We are thrilled to enter into this research collaboration with Muscat College. By combining our research strengths and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations, we can collectively address complex challenges, produce impactful research outcomes, and enrich the research ecosystem in Oman.”
